I'll definitely be back! This place deserves higher ratings. Surprisingly, one of the highlights for me was their avocado ranch salad dressing--something I never thought I'd rave about at an Irish pub. It was fantastic! I'm already looking forward to summer so I can order a Cobb salad with it. During my visit, I had the Irish Burger, and it was an excellent choice. My friend ordered the Reuben, which I sampled, and now I know exactly what I'll be getting next time--it was delicious! We also tried the Reuben egg rolls, and those are a must-try as well. The pub is clean, not overly noisy, and serves outstanding food. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to return!
McDills is a great pub in Collinsville. The menu consist of Irish style items and American. I love the wings and the chips as my meal. My favorite part of McDills is the beer menu. They have tons of beers on draft which is typically what my husband and I are looking for when we want a quick bite out. The restaurant is pretty large with a large parking lot so no issues with parking or getting a table. Service at the bar is always quick and the bartender may even make you a special spot. Overall nice spot in Collinsville
Great Irish Pub, all five of us enjoyed our dinner here and talked about coming back with our friends or families. We had nice weather so the front patio was great to hang out on. The patio is dog friendly. The table service staff was very nice and polite. We had two ribeye steak sandwiches, the fried cod dinner, chicken wings and the fried green beans appetizer. The food was all really good! The draft beer was super cold and even the dark Guinness hit the spot on a hot day and I love a pub that makes a good half and half (black and tan). I think the place is relatively new, or at least updated, the parking lot has expanded since the last time I was there and the inside of the restaurant looked nice and was clean. They open the garage doors and let air flow throughout on a nice weather day. Thanks for the great dinner!
Food. Fantastic Service was GREAT! you can see how hard she is working to cover everyone on a afternoon and the porch is perfect for a beautiful day outside! Which we got to enjoy! I highly recommend the egg rolls! They are a personal enjoyment for the first time I had them. Extra sauce of course! We will be back!
Mmmmmmkay. Listen up. Been here a ton, and I am so so sad that I've never ordered the fish tacos!!!! Literally THE BEST FISH TACOS I have ever had!!!! EVER. The slaw on the fish, the fish itself, oh man. Yum. Okay- bad part, I ordered an old fashion-it took longer than it should have, and I even had to ask for an update, twice, on the status of my cocktail- it finally came, and I was confused. There was no ice in it-wth. I don't care if it's not a big cube, but you don't skip ice on an old fashion-!!!!! Like, hello. I ended up digging ice cubes out of my water. Not ok. At all. I've never had a bad meal here- but I wont be ordering anymore Old fashions. And did I mention not to sleep on the fish tacos-!?? Best ever.
